Abstract	O presente artigo propoe a descricao do que seria uma sociedade boa, fazendo-o por conceitos trabalhados por Friedrich Hayek e Amartya Sen em suas respectivas obras Direito, Legislacao e Liberdade e Desenvolvimento como Liberdade . Essa abordagem tera como fio condutor o conto A pequena vendedora de fosforos , da autoria de Hans Christan Andersen. Pela caracteristica da verossimilhanca, o texto literario ilustra atemporalmente questoes jusfilosoficas enfrentadas nos debates sobre liberdade e justica social. O dialogo entre o conto e os conceitos trabalhados por Hayek e Sen permite a discussao nao apenas de suas construcoes teoricas, mas demonstra a relevância da tematica na tentativa de responder as desigualdades das sociedades capitalistas modernas e contemporâneas. Abstract This article proposes the descripton of what a good society is to Friedrich Hayek and Amartya Sen, through concepts presented on the works Law, Legislation and Liberty and A theory of justice, respectively. This approach will be guided by the reading of the tale The litle match girl, by Hans Christan Andersen. Through the verisimilitude, the text properly shows philosophical maters faced by Philosophy and Law in the context of liberty and social justice. The dialogue between the tale and the concepts built by Hayek and Sen allow not only the explanation of their theories, but also show the relevance of the theme on the atempt to cope with inequality in modern and contemporary societes.
