Abstract	a CEO of a life science venture must come to terms with the numerous decisions they make that ultimately turn out to be erroneous and for which they must take responsibility. But there are many other things that can go wrong with a biotech startup that are completely out of control of company management. Biotech companies—especially those working in new drug discovery—find themselves in troughs like this all the time. Such events can dramatically and quickly torpedo the business environment for your enterprise. In the following article, I describe what to do when such bad news hits your company.
