| Abstract | Abstract Moral is knowledge that involves civilized human behavior about good or bad individual behavior. Moral in the perspective of Islamic teachings is akhlaq. The moral decision-making ability of adolescents always develops in harmony with changes in their age range. Individual moral development is well characterized by its ability to adjust to the values and norms prevailing in its environment and shown in permanent behavior. One factor that influences teen moral development is self-control. Self-control in the perspective of Islamic teachings is taqwa. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-control with the moral development of adolescents in SMK Negeri 1 Sambirejo. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between self-control and teenagers' moral development in SMK 1 Sambirejo. The dependent variable of this research is moral development, the independent variable is self control. Research subjects were 112 students of class XI of SMK Negeri 1 Sambirejo Sragen, using cluster random sampling technique. Research data collection method is a quantitative method using a measure of self-control scale and scale of moral development. The research data analysis technique was Product Moment correlation technique using SPSS for Windows version 24. The results showed that self-control correlated with the moral development of adolescents with a correlation coefficient of 0.596 and a significance level of 0.000. This means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-control and moral development of adolescents. This indicates that the higher self-control, the higher the moral development. Self-control contributes to moral development by 35.5%, this means there are still 64.5% of other factors that can affect moral development. The categorization results for subject self-control with a percentage of 61.61% were high and the moral categorization of subjects with a percentage of 55.36% were high.
