| Abstract | In this work, LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor for measuring structural crop parameters has been used. Data acquisition is carried out with a SICK LMS 200 scanner on orchards and vineyards. Applying Walklate’s methodology, Crop Area Quotient (CAQ), Tree Area index (TAI) and Tree Area Density (TAD) parameters have been built to compare to Leaf Area Index (LAI). In this sense, TAI parameter has showed the better correlation when obtained data on pear orchards are analysed. |
