Abstract	Objective: To determine the Nursing care aimed at the patient with Acute Leukemia (LA) who attends three hematology units of three 4th level institutions, based on the level of uncertainty that is generated at the diagnosis and onset of treatment. Design: Quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study conducted with 21 adult patients in the city of Bogota. It is specifically the instrument (MUIS-ADULT) Uncertainty scale before Mishel disease. The data was processed in R Software for multiple correspondence analysis. For the bivariate analysis, the Chi Square and Kruskal Wallis test was applied. Results: The level of uncertainty was high in 52.4% and average in 42.9% of the sample. By dimensions, it is evident that the most limited was Cognitive Capacity 60.4%. The analysis of multiple correspondences without evidence relationship between the variables of the instrument and the type of disease, age or sex. There is no evidence difference in the answers identified the type of medical diagnostic. A bivariate analysis was performed associating schooling and the level of uncertainty with a significance of 0.10. Conclusions: Patients diagnosed with LA have a regular and high degree of uncertainty. In response, the proposal of Patient Care is proposed based on the factors that increase uncertainty. There is no evidence describing the phenomenon of Uncertainty in the adult patient with LA, which poses an opportunity in research to contribute to nursing knowledge and lead to the improvement of care practices.
