Description	Journal: Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences In this brief review, we introduce some major themes in the regulation of energy, lipid, and glucose metabolism by the central nervous system (CNS). Rather than comprehensively discussing the field, we instead will discuss some of the key findings made regarding the interaction of the hormones ghrelin and leptin with the CNS.
