| Abstract | Neutral zone is the most widely and successfully used technique for the management of severely resorbed mandibular ridges. It serves as a guide for the placement of teeth and also helps in contouring the polished surface of the denture by combining the physiologic and functional approach. Thereby it helps to ensure optimal stability and retention. Objective is to restore patient to normal form, function, aesthetics, and health. This article review’s neutral zone techniques and the case report describes an overview of how a neutral zone technique helps in providing a complete denture to a patient which is stable and comfortable. |
