Description	Journal: Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments A small, lightweight furnace for a kappa-phi configuration neutron single-crystal diffractometer is described. Sample temperatures between room temperature and 700K can be attained and maintained to within 0.03K of the set temperature. Temperature gradients of less than 0.05K over the sample are found in the whole temperature region.
