| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Positronium formation in positron-hydrogen collisions is studied using Schwinger's variational principle at intermediate energies. A total of 12 correlated functions in the basis set expansion is found to be sufficient to predict accurate cross sections in agreement with the experimental and theoretical values available in the literature. |
