| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics The results of the theoretical study of the hole formation process in thin films, following the end of the laser action, are presented. It is shown that the final form and dimensions of the hole depend on the physical and thermophysical properties of the film and the substrate. Expressions are obtained which may be used to evaluate the final dimension of the hole in every case. |
