Description	Journal: Journal of Physics B: Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Formulae are derived for the angular distribution of fluorescence following Doppler-free two-photon absorption, in terms of the polarization and propagation vectors of the photons involved. The relationship to another, more indirect, approach is briefly discussed.
