| Description | Journal: Iop Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science Lime is a cheap and easily available building material, which can greatly change the physical and mechanical properties of soil and is widely used in engineering construction. This article summarizes the effect and mechanism of quicklime in improving loess mechanical properties. The changes of physical and mechanical properties of loess after lime added and the internal mechanism of lime-improved soil are summarized, also, the factors affecting lime-soil improvement are analysed. |
