| Description | Journal: Iop Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering ICMEAS 2016 was held in Singapore during October 13-15, 2016. ICMEAS 2016 was co-organized by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME). The conference provides a useful and wide platform both for displaying the latest research and for exchanging research results and thoughts in broad Mechanical Engineering and Automation Science. The participants of the conference were from almost every part of the world, with a background in either academia or industry, even well-known enterprise. The success and prosperity of the conference is reflected in the high level of the papers received. The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. This book covers 3 chapters: Aeronautics; Mechanical; General knowledge of Mechanical engineering and automation science. We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported ICMEAS 2016. Each individual and institution's help was very important for the success of this conference. Especially, we would like to thank the organizing committee for their valuable advice in the organization and helpful peer review of the papers. We sincerely hope that ICMEAS 2016 will be a forum for excellent discussions that will put forward new ideas and promote collaborative researches. We are sure that the proceedings will serve as an important research source of reference and the knowledge, will lead to not only scientific and engineering progress but also other new products and processes.
