| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics A simple model which illustrates the frustration effects found in amorphous Ising antiferromagnets is introduced. It is shown that the phase diagram of this model may be obtained from the phase diagram of a suitably constructed spin glass reference model, and the implications of this are discussed. The phase diagram of a model with an annealed distribution of even and odd membered rings of spins is explicitly obtained. The difficulties introduced by a non-zero external magnetic field are briefly discussed. |
