| Description | Journal: Materials Research Express In this work, 3D nanoporous composite electrode with tin oxide nanoparticles of 3-5 nm dispersed uniformly on the surface of multiwalled carbon nanotube film was prepared by electrodeposition technique. This composite electrode presents high specific capacitance (588 Fg-1 at 15 Ag-1), excellent rate capability (450 Fg-1 at a high scan rate of 200 mVs-1) and good cycle stability (5% capacity loss after 5000 cycles at 15 Ag-1). This result indicates that the nanostructured composite electrode with hierarchical porous structure and good conductivity is a very promising structure and active composite material for electrochemical capacitor. |
