| Description | Journal: Physics World The editor of Physics World, Peter Rodgers, left the magazine at the end of November to become editor of Nature Nanotechnology. Rodgers, 42, joined the magazine in 1990 and has been editor since 1996. He received a BSc in physics from Imperial College, London, and a PhD in quantum optics from the Queen's University of Belfast before joining the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in 1988. During his 10 years as editor, Rodgers has overseen a rise in circulation, two major redesigns, and the launch of physicsweb.org, one of the most popular physics sites on the Web. |
