Description	Journal: Physics World As scientists, we like to think we deal in "truth", and over the years we have collectively developed a sense of what constitutes a "beautiful" equation or theory. But why is it that the words we use to describe them are often so unappealing and flat? Is it too much to ask for a little poetry in our scientific books and journals?
