| Description | Journal: Iop Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering High purity $Nd_{2}O_{3}$-doped $(1−x)BaTiO_{3}-xBi_{0.5}$(Na, $K)_{0.5}TiO_{3}$ (x = 0.00-0.08) were synthesized by a composite-hydroxide-mediated approach at 200°C using a hydrothermal reaction apparatus with a rolling system. The powders with an average size of 100 nm in diameter were produced and were sintered to almost full theoretical density at low temperature such as 1200°C for 2 h. Although $(1−-x)BaTiO_{3}-xBi_{0.5}$(Na, $K)_{0.5}TiO_{3}$ could not be poled, $Nd_{2}O_{3}$ additive was useful to proceed the polarization of $(1−x)BaTiO_{3}-xBi_{0.5}$(Na, $K)_{0.5}TiO_{3}$ ceramics. |
