| Description | Journal: Iop Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering Brake drum is accompanied with vibration during it works, it is particularly important to research its static and dynamic characteristics. In this paper, the static analysis of the drum was carried out, and the displacement was computed by ANSYS APDL. Then, modal analysis of the drum was conducted, and the first six orders natural frequencies and vibration were computed. The results can offer references for the brake drum design and manufacture as well as improved the quality of the brake system. |
