The sensitivity to polarization is examined for different kinds of resonance/subwavelength structures. The paper refers to binary metallic and binary dielectric structures. Design methods for modulated subwavelength structures are compared. The possible application of the considered diffractive elements in a polarization optical system is discussed. |
