Description	Journal: Physics World The long-standing mutual lack of confidence between French physicists and French industry seems to be on the wane, according to a new study sponsored by the SFP (the Société Française de Physique), the ANRT (Association Nationale de la Recherche Technique) and the MRT (Ministry of Research and Technology). But physicists' perceptions of themselves and their talents is still in marked contrast with that of their prospective industrial employers in several important areas.
