| Description | Journal: Physics in Medicine & Biology It is suggested that the stopping power values given by the ICRU (Microdosimetry, report 36, 1983) should not be used unless an error of several per cent is acceptable. For the calculation of the gas-to-wall dose conversion factor the stopping power for small energies should be known with greater accuracy than for large energies because of the greater weight it has in the calculations. |
