| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics The binding energies, single-particle energy spectra and quadrupole deformation parameters for the superheavy elements, starting from$ ^{257}$ Fm to$ ^{313}$ 128, are calculated by using an axially deformed relativistic mean-field formalism. Particular attention is given here to the investigation of the spherical magic structures. As a further test of the predicted binding energies, the Q -values are also calculated and compared with other theoretical predictions. |
