| Description | Journal: Nonlinearity One-parameter families of periodic solutions in nonlinear autonomous Hamiltonian systems with two degrees of freedom are considered. Criteria for the existence and stability (checked by the Hessian of the Hamiltonian) as well as bilateral bounds for the periods are obtained. In a system with an even Hamiltonian, the stability is determined by the behaviour of the energy as the parameter increases. |
