| Description | Journal: Physics World Physicists in Italy have got the green light to start designing a new particle collider that would investigate the subtle differences between matter and antimatter. The €500m "SuperB" facility, if funded, would be built just outside Rome and could switch on in 2015. The 2000 m circumference facility would collide electrons and positrons to create B-mesons at some 100 times the rate of the BaBar experiment at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in California and Belle at the KEK lab in Japan. |
