Description	Journal: Physics World Photonics, which uses photons instead of electrons for information and image processing, has been labelled the technology of the 21st century. Nonlinear optical (NLO) processes will provide many of the key functions of frequency conversion and optical switching. Organic molecular materials and polymeric systems have been increasingly studied in recent years perform such functions in this context, and it is on these materials that this book focuses.
