| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics: Conference Series This paper presents a real-time rendering method based on the GPU programmable pipeline for rendering the 3D scene in ink wash painting style. The method is divided into main three parts: First, render the ink properties of 3D model by calculating its vertex curvature. Then, cached the ink properties to a paper structure and using an ink dispersion model which is defined by referencing the theory of porous media to simulate the dispersion of ink. Finally, convert the ink properties to the pixel color information and render it to the screen. This method has a better performance than previous methods in visual quality. |
