| Description | Many previous studies prove the benefits of a flipped-classroom approach contributes to EFL students' learning achievement. This research aims at investigating the use of the flipped classroom approach in teaching grammar. The quasi-experimental research design was carried out on the first-year undergraduate students in Central Sulawesi. We used a purposive sampling technique to select a research sample, using two classes with 72 students with the lowest grammatical knowledge achievement. Thirty-six students represented the experimental group, in which we implemented the flipped classroom approach. In comparison, another 36 students of the same level represented the control group with the same teaching material, but without the flipped-classroom approach. The statistical analysis for the post-test reveals that the experimental group participants outperformed the control group. This finding strengthens the effectiveness of the flipped classroom approach as one of the language learning-teaching approaches. Book Name: Post Pandemic L2 Pedagogy |
