Description	Journal: World Archaeology This paper deals with the different models of landscape found in prehistoric and historic periods in north‐west Iberia. This study particularly focuses on the form of the sacred landscape in Galicia and its transformation over time. Each successive phase incorporates beliefs and traditions from the past and interprets them in the present. That process can be described as 'rewriting' landscape.
