| Description | Ultrathin assembling films have gained increasingly importance because they allow fabrication of supramolecular assemblies of tailored architecture. Layer-by-layer assembly is a new molecular self-assembling technique based on alternating physisorption of opposite charged polyions at liquidlsolid interface.(Decher, 1991) Due to many advantages of this method, such as easiness in fabrication, independence on substrate size and topology, good mechanical and chemical stability of the resulting film, it is recognized that the assembling technique is a powerful and versatile means for assembling multicomposite supramolecular structures with control over the layer composing and thickness.
