| Description | Land-use changes alter land cover and influence ecological courses. Irrational land-use practice leads to a series of environmental consequences such as degradation of soil quality, soil erosion, desertification, and deterioration of water quality. It is important to study the interrelationships among land-use changes, environmental changes, and socioeconomic changes, which may be helpful for reconstruction of regional environment and advancing regional socioeconomic development.
