| Description | BOC supply cylinders of gas to customers for dispensing drinks. The cylinders range widely in weight from 7-99 kg.; different handling techniques are required for the various sizes of cylinder and various operations that are necessary during the filling and delivery processes. The Company have over the years taken steps to reduce risks of injury, including for example: a training programme for delivery personnel, provision of handling aids such as trolleys, ropes etc., restriction of deliveries to only locations with acceptable access, and analyses of accidents and near-miss incidents.
