| Description | This chapter demonstrates various failure patterns developed during the four-point bending. The flexural response of masonry beams strengthened with Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) fabric sheets are investigated experimentally. The masonry beams were made with locally available clay-burnt bricks and cement mortar of proportions 1:3 (cement: sand). Masonry beams are made in different ways with cement mortar as a bed joint. One of the most common upgrading materials used for strengthening purpose is FRP, which has gained increasing popularity in the construction field because of its valuable properties such as high tensile strength, non-corrodible characteristics. The mortar mix ratio of 1:3 was used to construct the masonry beams. After the application of the first epoxy layer on the bottom surface, the FRP sheet was glue to the beam with epoxy and the rollers were used for uniform application of epoxy.
