| Description | Bridge structural robustness which denotes the ability of a bridge system to withstand unexpected condition without having to adapt its originally stable structure. The robustness index is usually determined on the basis of the failure probability of a damaged structure and the intact structure. In this manuscript, the robustness index assessment method based on Bridge Health Monitoring data is presented using Bayes method. The advantage of this method is to improve the application efficiency of Bridge Health Monitoring data of robustness index assessment. In addition, the cable-stayed bridge has been investigated that the proposed method is an effective method for bridge structure condition assessment.
