Description	One important reason that we would want to simulate a process is that it may be too expensive to model with full generality. Therefore we are interested in ways to simplify the representation of a system's behavior. In fact, finding ways to perform this simplification without compromising the accuracy of the simulation is the chief engineering concern of simulation design, because it is generally (though not always) true that there is a positive correlation between the number of variables considered in a model and the accuracy with which the model can predict real-world behavior.
