| Description | The International Center for the Disabled (ICD) is a freestanding outpatient rehabilitation facility located in New York City. ICD is an extraordinary rehabilitation organization with a record of over 75 years of service to persons with disabilities. ICD is proud of its tradition of "working beyond the center's doors," and nowhere is this tradition stronger than in its partnership with the business sector. Many of lCD's younger clients are trying to make their way from the high school classroom to the business world. The Industrial Rehabilitation Program (IRP) helps local industry contain disability costs by successfully returning injured workers to the job as well as bringing workers' compensation cases to closure and providing injury-prevention programs and consultation. IRP's interdisciplinary staff, including a physiatrist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, social worker, and vocational counselor, works with the injured employee to develop an individual return-to-work plan.
