Description	Journal: Physiotherapy theory and practice A modularized, unit-directed course curriculum design is described as a possible vehicle for linking clinical practice and physical therapy professional education. The structure, implementation, strengths and weaknesses and possible applications in other educational environments are described. This curriculum design has been found to meet the criteria of suitability, feasibility, acceptability and accountability at the University of Michigan-Flint, USA and is believed to be sufficiently dynamic and flexible for possible use in physical therapy education programs worldwide.
