| Description | Coal flotation is a complicated physical-chemical process. Flotation froth is the result of interaction of air, water and solid in flotation cell. In industrial flotation process flotation froth plays an important role, which reflects directly the indices of flotation product, that is the solid content and ash content. Recognition of the appearance of flotation froth layer is greatly significant to the control of industrial flotation. By using image recognition, the relationship between ash content of flotation fine coal and the features, such as grayness, ratio of gray area, energy, entropy and inertia, of froth image, and the relationship between solid content of flotation fine coal and the features of image were studied in this paper. Fitting model (9)(10) with 30 group of flotation froth data gave good result. Book Name: Computer Applications in the Mineral Industries |
