| Description | Twenty-two species of phytophagous beetles living on citrus in Italy are reported; they belong to the families Scarabeidae, Bostrychidae, Nitidulidae, Cerambycidae, Cucurlionidae, Alleculidae and Chrysomelidae. But only few species (i.e. weevils) among such groups are economically important and require control measures. Notes are reported on Trichoferus griseus Fabr. (Col. Cerambycidae), new species on citrus in Mediterranean area, and Apate monachus Fabr. (Col. Bostrychidae) infesting lemon trees in Sicily. Book Name: Integrated Pest Control in Citrus-Groves |
