| Description | This paper gives a description of a new type of pneumo-structures, applicable in gravitational hydrotechnical construction of facilities exposed to heavy loads in water areas, practically applicable for different kinds of baseplates in shallow and deep waters. The pneumo-structures discussed are designed mainly for construction works on poor soils and have wide range of maritime applications. The external loads are transmitted to the underlying foundation of the structure mainly by the internal filler, which results in an even redistribution of the load across the base. Thus, the need for stone made redistribution prism and precise leveling of the underlying bottom (with the help of divers) is avoided. The lack of a bottom plate allows uneven subsidence of the earth's foundation. Gravitational constructions built with the pneumo-structures allow significant increase in wall deformations and increasing of the loads on the constructions without deterioration of their overall operational condition.
