Description	In mature markets, ESCOs have become sophisticated energy efficiency (EE) project developers responsible for an unusually wide spectrum of tasks. Typically, they can identify, design and help secure project financing; install and supervise the maintenance of equipment; measure and verify project energy savings; and assume the risk that the project will reduce the customer's energy and operating costs to a level, sufficient to repay the investment.
