Description	In the past, the development of sophisticated image editing tools has made image tampering or forgery more convenient for attackers. Image forensics is mainly concerned with the identification of authenticity and origin of an image for any possible forgery. The investigation of digital image forgery is one of the challenging areas in which researchers are still working. This chapter is mainly concerned with the detailed survey on image morphing techniques and forgery detection techniques with a deep insight into the popular forgery detection technique called copy-move forgery detection. Image morphing is associated with the positive aspects of forgery and is considered good practice. One of the key aims of this chapter is to highlight various aspects associated with image morphing, but mainly the fundamental principle and key algorithms. A schematic representation of an image processing task is investigated in detail for identification of possible image forgeries in a complete image processing cycle. The traces which are left out during the acquisition phase, sensing phase and coding phase have also been discussed for any possible forgery attack with an aim to identify the possible attackers. The chapter also provides some highlights on antiforensics techniques. As per our investigation, most of the forgery detection techniques provide less accuracy and are highly complex, which creates lots of research opportunities.
