| Description | Creativity plays an important role in nowadays live. When it comes to the industrial context, this creativity is meant to be successfully implemented, innovation. It is fundamental to be prepared for the actual instable economies and creativity (and than innovation) is considered essential pillars. Psychology is the main area studying creativity but once it extends to all human activities, there is a need to observe creativity in other domains. The main goals of this study are to (1) provide a literature review on creative research, (2) explain the major differences between creativity and innovation, (3) understand design as a vehicle driving creativity to innovation and (4) present an insight on the actual panorama of the fashion industry as well as what is the fashion designer's job in the current framework. In the end of this article is presented a connection between an approach from psychology on creativity (Csikszentmihalyi 2015) and a study about the creativity on the fashion industry context (Ruppert—Stroescu & Hawley 2014). |
