| Description | Journal: Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation In this paper we provide a supplementary set of truncation numbers $(n_{0}$) for $δ^{*}$–values not studied in Bechhofer and Goldsman (1987). These are necessary to implement the truncated sequential selection procedure . Performance characteristics are given for used with the new $n_{0}$–values. A by–product of this study was the discovery of a remarkable and completely unexpected pattern among the estimated $n_{0}$–values. The practical implications of this finding are indicated. |
