| Description | INTRODUCTION This chapter introduces two elements of fundamental importance: the capacitors and inductors. The relationships of their currents and voltages are more complicated than those for the resistors, and are expressed by differentiation and integration. We also define two new variables, the charge of the capacitor and the flux of the inductor. For the sake of completeness we give the basic relationships for nonlinear elements but our discussions will consider linear elements only. Book Name: Linear Circuit Theory |
