| Description | The Internet of Things (IoT) is quite the most powerful technology available today. The Internet's ubiquity, the rising network connection capability, and the diversity of connected devices make the IoT versatile and adaptable. The company's security strategy should be based on the principle of compromise. Establishing relationships of trust between nodes in IoT is a crucial safety milestone for providing a stable system that excludes malicious nodes. Trust management, however, represents a real challenge in a restricted and pervasive IoT environment. A repository is a central database that holds gateway information and also searches and updates the data depending on their level of authorization. A framework of trust authentication is proposed to create secure communication between the subscriber and publisher. Authentication is performed for both the entities, such as subscriber and publisher, by using two factor authentication procedures. The proposed scheme is lightweight and optimizations have been used to minimize the overheads. Book Name: Industry 4.0 Interoperability, Analytics, Security, and Case Studies |
