| Description | In this paper, we are using a current-controlled conveyor component with extra X terminal for implementing multifunction filer, this will ultimately decrease the complication of the circuits presently used. The proposed circuit has three input ports and only one output port to form a biquadratic filter consisting an only single functioning component called as current conveyor from second generation (CCII) along with two capacitors to obtain all standard filter transfer functions such as low pass, high pass, band-pass, and band-reject filter. Now in this a current conveyor is used instead of op-amp because of two reasons one is that it can work on high frequencies and another is that it gives bandwidth-gain better under small as well as large signal conditions. Also, we are working on 180 nm complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) technology parameter using CADENCE Virtuoso and the results are obtained using ORCAD PSPICE 17.2 simulation tool for precision.
