Description	According to O'Dea (2020), “the number of mobile devices operating worldwide is expected to reach 17.72 billion by 2024, an increase of 3.7 billion devices compared to 2020 levels”. This is an indication of how pervasive mobile devices have become and how dependent we have become on using mobile devices in our daily lives. However, we are just getting started. With the anticipation of 5G networks rolling out and connecting our mobile devices, making connectivity faster and ubiquitous, and one can only imagine the uses of our mobile devices. The reason why we are able to use our mobile devices like our laptops and desktops is because of the convergence 190of mobile technologies with cloud computing technologies. Mobile cloud computing services are now being used everywhere by everyone for everything. Whether it is for checking your emails, banking, and logging into your courses, watching videos online, or chatting on social media, all these activities and services need to be secured in cyberspace (cyber-security) as you do not want anyone else reading your emails or logging into your bank account.
