| Description | Lung disease is one of the biggest health problems for people living in the developing world and especially in Turkey. The most important lung diseases are chronic obstructive lung, pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, lung cancer. In this study, a decision support system on lung diseases diagnosis was realized by using convolutional neural networks. We obtained the classification accuracy with convolutional neural networks 95.51%. The results of this paper are also compared with the results of a probabilistic artificial neural network model using same dataset. The lung disease dataset were prepared from a faculty of medicine's database using patient's hospital reports. This system can carry out the classification process with a good performance to assist the doctor in making decisions about healthy or lung disease issues. So, this structure can be helpful as learning based decision support system for contributing to the doctors in their diagnosis decisions.
