| Description | The present investigation aims to deepen the possible reutilization of textile materials, resulting from the production of carded fabrics (felt), embroidered with silk thread. This research was based on an in-depth study aiming to identify real problems found in silk and silk producers. The use of design practice allows us to use fabrics produced with defects in the industry, by creating accessories with a distinctive and identifying character from a certain region that produces these fabrics. Considering that design aims to find solutions to the problems encountered, the following question was formulated: is it possible to use a dynamic between accessory design and the textile industry in order to develop a collection accessories using stained fabrics? To address this question, we used a mixed methodology, non-interventionist and interventionist (action research). Book Name: Textiles, Identity and Innovation: In Touch |
